Poland advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP Cup after the sweeping victory of the ninth seed Hubert Hurkacz over Argentine Diego Schwartzman in the men's team championship in Sydney, Australia.
Reuters reported that Hurkacz, 24, won 6-1 6-4 to give his country a place in the Men's Professional Cup final in Sydney.
Poland qualified for the semi-finals after winning Group D with a perfect score of 3-0, having previously beaten Georgia and Greece, and will meet in the semi-finals with Spain or Serbia.
