Leipzig - For weeks the internet has been mobilizing for the three demos under the motto “All together - autonomous, resistant, irreconcilable!”.

On Tuesday, the city of Leipzig announced that the assembly authority had banned the protest.

As a reason, the city cited the risk forecast by the Leipzig police as well as assessments by the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution and research by the assembly authority.

The administrative court in Leipzig confirmed the ban on Thursday evening.

In a statement on Thursday, the police once again emphasized that an "unpeaceful course" was to be assumed.
