The police searched the Kwun Tong district yesterday (14) and found that in a party room, two people were charged for failing to show the travel records of peace of mind and completing the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination.
Another person was arrested on suspicion of "using false documents" for displaying a suspected false "Travel with Peace" mobile app.

The Kwun Tong Police District Task Force and personnel of the Tactical Unit of Kowloon East Region launched an anti-crime operation code-named "BRAVEDUKE" at about 4 a.m. yesterday (14th). They raided Kwun Tong District and found Kwun Tong Road in the meantime. The party room in No. 404 Industrial Building is suspected to be operating illegally and is suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Chapter 599F).
There were a total of 14 customers in the party room. Two of them failed to show their safe travel records and completed the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination. They were suspected of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Section Chapter 599F).
The officer then issued a fixed penalty notice to them.
Among them, a 25-year-old male customer showed the suspected false "Travel with Peace" mobile phone application to the police and was arrested on suspicion of "using false documents."
In addition, two 23-year-old male persons in charge were arrested on suspicion of violating the Prevention and Control of Disease (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Chapter 599F). He is currently being detained for investigation.
According to the "Prevention and Control of Diseases (Regulations and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations" (Chapter 599F), for party rooms to operate, customers and employees must complete the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
In addition, the person in charge of the premises should also ensure that when customers enter the premises, they use the mobile app to scan the QR code for travel with peace of mind.
During the severe period of the epidemic, the police appealed to the public to take care of themselves and to strictly abide by the "Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance" to help control the epidemic and reduce the risk of the spread of the virus in the community.
