The violent death of a black man in a police operation in the US state of Ohio has sparked protests.
The lawyer for the victim's family has now spoken out and warned that the demonstrations could turn violent.
The background is therefore the evaluation of a police video that is to be published on Sunday.
In an op-ed in the Akron Beacon Journal, attorney Bobby DiCello said he was concerned about how people might react to the footage.
It shows police firing dozens of shots and shooting Walker in the face, abdomen, arms and legs as he tries to run away.
Hit by more than 90 bullets
“This is going to be a brutal video.
It will evoke some emotions.
It's going to worry people," DiCello said.
The shooting was an "incredible scene" in which Walker's body was "simply riddled with bullets," the attorney said.
He called on the demonstrators to protest peacefully.
"We're all excited for the community's response, and the only message we have is that the family doesn't need more violence," DiCello said.
Officials said officers tried to stop Walker for a traffic violation.
Walker then tried to flee in the car and is said to have shot the officers.
After a few minutes, Walker exited his vehicle and ran while officers pursued him on foot and shot him.
Walker is said to have been hit by more than 90 bullets.
DiCello said his team saw no evidence that Walker fired a gun.
Police camera footage also showed Walker turning his back to officers as they fired.
