General audience with the Pope.
Right in the middle of this Wednesday: a ten-year-old boy who is approaching the Pope with a clear goal.
He wants the pileolus, the head covering of the head of the Catholic church.
The unexpected visit to the stage in front of thousands of believers does not trigger a security alarm.
And Pope Francis doesn’t allow himself to be disturbed by the boy either.
The boy's persistence eventually pays off.
Pope Francis leaves his pileolus to him and includes what has happened in his address to the faithful.
The child's courage to approach God and to open up without fear is a lesson for everyone, said the Pope.
The boy has a handicap, but what he has done comes from the heart.
