(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 29 - The term of inadmissibility in Appeal can rise from 2 to 3 years and in the Supreme Court from 1 year to 18 months for "particularly complex" judgments. But further extensions of the same duration "can be ordered" for rights of terrorism or subversion, for mafia-type associations (Article 416 bis), for political-mafia electoral exchange (Article 416 ter), for sexual violence, for drug-trafficking associations. The draft, viewed by ANSA, to amend the text on the prescription provides for this. For appeals by 12/31/2024 the inadmissibility is triggered after 3 years on appeal and 18 months in the Supreme Court (transitional rule).
