The Oscars will be awarded in Los Angeles in a few weeks.

Could there be a royal surprise at the award ceremony thanks to Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan?

Los Angeles – Duchess Meghan (40) is slowly but surely stretching out her feelers in the direction of Hollywood.

It is questionable whether the mother of two will ever be in front of the camera again as an actress, but she apparently wants to continue to maintain important contacts in the film industry.

At the upcoming Oscars, there could be a real royal surprise, where Meghan's husband Prince Harry (37) could even be the focus of the award show!

Duchess Meghan has not appeared as an actress since she left the popular series "Suits".

She had left the production at the time to start a new life as a member of the British royal family alongside Prince Harry.

However, there is not much left of royal commitments.

The Sussexes have long since turned their backs on the palace.

In their adopted home of California, they live far from royal protocol.

Thanks to their good contacts in the show industry, Meghan and Harry are popular talk show guests in the USA.

Queen Elizabeth's (95) grandson has already delighted television viewers with an appearance on James Corden's (43) show, his wife was last seen on Ellen DeGeneres' (63) show.

According to media reports, Meghan in particular should be very important to continue to show presence in Hollywood.

The approaching Oscars come at the right time.

There's a catch

As reported by the British Express, among others, Prince Harry could play an important role at the Academy Awards.

There is talk of a part as a guest moderator alongside the superstars Tom Hanks (65) and Richard Gere (72).

Duchess Meghan would probably burst with pride.

However, there was a catch: actress Kristen Stewart (31) will most likely appear at the Oscars.

The American is currently being highly praised for her portrayal of Princess Diana (36, † 1997) in the film "Spencer" and could even be nominated for best actress.

Allegedly, Prince Harry wanted to avoid meeting Stewart at all costs.

According to the magazine OK!

he said he was "appalled" by the film, which is dedicated to the life of his late mother.

It remains to be seen whether Duchess Meghan will be able to assert her desire to gain a foothold in Hollywood again.

By March 27 at the latest, you will see if there is a royal surprise at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.
