Sadi Ben Sheetrit arrested after interfering with the broadcast of Channel 20 - for the program of Shimon Riklin (Sapir Levy)
The demonstration - and the arrest: Left-wing activists demonstrated in Habima Square in Tel Aviv and disrupted the broadcast of Channel 20 there.
During Shimon Riklin's program "Riklin & Co.", several demonstrators broke into the broadcast, including one of the veteran Balfour demonstrators, Sadi Ben Sheetrit.
Activists shouted at the megaphones and interrupted the broadcast of Riklin and his guests.
The police arrived at the scene and arrested Ben Sheetrit.
She then deployed checkpoints in the square, around the broadcast station.
Channel 20 said in a response: "The violent protest and opposition to Channel 20 broadcasts are proving its significant impact on the national agenda. Attempts to silence voices and positions through violence will be met with harshness and personal appeals have already been made and personal claims against those involved are being considered."
Sadi Ben Sheetrit told Walla!
Before he was arrested: "These people from Channel 20 made a settlement here. They think it's theirs. We decided that if they make a settlement here then we are also allowed. We have the right to demonstrate here."
