Released in April 2020 on PS4, the remake of Final Fantasy VII has just launched on PS5. Now find Cloud but equal

In 1997, players discovered the seventh installment of the Final Fantasy saga on PlayStation.

Become cult, the game of Square Enix marked many generations.

Thus, a remake has often been requested by the community.

In 2015, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, the Japanese publisher responded to fan demand, announcing the development of Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4.

Sony having since launched its new next-gen console, Square Enix has decided to export its remake of FFVII to the PS5.

From this June 10, you will therefore find Final Fantasy VII Remake in dematerialized or in physics for PS5, in a version called "Intergrade", including a new chapter in which players can play the character of Yuffie.

Final Fantasy VII Remake: What's new for the PS5 version?

All graphics have been reworked, compared to the original game.

So while the plot remains the same, the remake actually only covers part of the storyline: the one set in Midgar.

In this first part, the player plays Cloud, an ex-soldier who joined a group of resistance fighters called Avalanche.

They fight against the Shinra, a destructive company that uses the life force of the planet to create energy.

During his adventure, Cloud will notably have to face an emblematic antagonist of the Final Fantasy saga: Sephiroth.

In this remake, the fights take place in real time, and must be managed according to your ATB bar.

A side quest system has also been added.
