Sony's PS5 has been out for almost two years, and while it's now easier to get hold of, it's still a rare commodity.
The causes are always the same, between components that are more difficult to obtain, production chains turned upside down by sanitary measures, and of course, the success of the console itself.
The situation is improving, however, and it may be possible to have a console by the end of the year.
Note also that Sony has slightly increased its prices, and that the PS5 standard edition will now cost you 549 euros, while the PS5 digital edition costs 449 euros.

Be ready for the PS5: it's coming back for special sales
To find the PS5, as usual, your best chances remain online sales brands, such as Cdiscount, Amazon, Fnac, Micromania or even Rue Du Commerce, or even the sites of certain supermarket chains, such as E. Leclerc.
So be sure to have a valid account with these online merchants, and of course check that your information is up to date.
Also note that to combat bots and scalpers, and to ensure that consoles are purchased by normal customers, Amazon now offers the PS5 by invitation only: the "Add to cart" button has been replaced for the PS5 by a “Request an invitation” button.
When the console is available for purchase, you will receive an email telling you that the console is in stock: don't forget to request your invitation from Amazon,
