2021-12-02T16:00:42.175Z

The Parisian defender came out as a precaution against Nice on Wednesday night. The last examinations did not reveal any lesion.

More fear than harm for Presnel Kimpembe whose injury would not be very serious, if we are to believe the last echoes from the Lodge camp.

The Parisian defender could not finish the match against Nice (0-0) this Wednesday at the Parc des Princes due to muscle discomfort.

He was replaced in the 77th minute by Leandro Paredes.

After the meeting, Mauricio Pochettino confided: "When we were preparing the changes, he said he was uncomfortable, that's why he left".

Kimpembe passed examinations this Thursday which did not reveal any lesion.

The presence of the 26-year-old French international for the trip to Lens, this Saturday (9 p.m.), as part of the 17th day of Ligue 1, must still be specified, however.

Tuesday at a press conference, the Parisian coach listed the different options available to him in defense: “The competition is high.

We have Marquinhos, Presko, Marqui, Sergio, Kehrer, Diallo and even young people like El Chadaille.

We have a lot of quality.

It is a strength for us.

I don't think there is such direct competition.

Decisions are also taken in relation to the state of form, to the matches.

Sergio Ramos was spared Wednesday night.

He could make his return to the group at Bollaert, after a promising first outing at Saint-Etienne (3-1).

A new medical point must be made by the club this Friday, on the sidelines of the coach's press conference scheduled for 2 p.m.
