The Cultural Center in Baniyas organized a literary afternoon in which poets Alam Abdel Latif, Munther Hassan, Samir Hammad, Ramah Bobo and Hassan Shariqi participated, during which they presented various poems woven with love, spinning, philosophy and criticism of reality in different poetic schools, including traditional, activism and prose poems.

The meeting was opened by Khaled Haider, Director of the Cultural Center, with a greeting of love and sadness to the soul of the poet Muzaffar Al-Nawab, who passed away yesterday, pointing out that with his poetry he was able to penetrate from the walls to all parts of the earth.

The poet Hammad, who is a member of the Arab Writers Union, a member of the Poetry Association and a writer of children’s stories, recited several poems (Light a candle, my son) (To be or not to be) and short poems that have a human character and carry within them a sense of patriotism and the closest to public affairs and reality, and it is in itself a philosophical criticism of the reality that We touch it in our daily life.

 In turn, the poet Abd al-Latif, who is also a member of the Arab Writers Union, recited a poem of Ugaritic trusts from his book (They Master Love), through which he was inspired by the civilized dimension of our culture.

With his poem (Dream.. and Peace) he addressed the human spirit with a conscience that is closer to social than subjectivity, and it was clear without overindulging in craftsmanship.

In her turn, the poet Bobo recited a variety of free and unrestricted prose poems entitled (Her Words Revolve) in order to direct the message of goodness of resistance against ugliness in life and an attempt to call for building a new hope filled with love in all its different forms of love for man, homeland and self-love.

The poet Hassan gave excerpts from poetry readings ranging from the Sufi revelation and the vision poem closest to the sad song and the state of loss and failure that a person may go through.

In turn, the poet Shariqi recited several poems, including (Ten of the Blacks), which symbolize in her words the dark years experienced by the steadfast people of Syria.

Bashush phone from the State of Iraq, in turn, expressed the importance of the poetic forum and its touch on existentialism and the meaning of humanity.
