"If he doesn't violate Russian law and if he doesn't give reason to be declared a foreign agent, he won't be," Putin said.
But the Russian president also warned the reporter not to try to hide behind the Nobel Prize "using it as a shield" to violate Russian law and "draw attention to himself".
