The head of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Muhammad Baqir Qalibaf, affirmed that Iran is seeking to fully lift the embargo measures in a practical and immediate manner.
Fars News Agency quoted Qalibaf as saying during the council meeting today that “negotiations between Iran and the Four Plus One Group regarding the nuclear agreement are underway with many contradictions. One day we hear news of progress in the negotiations and we hear another day news of differences, but all these matters are indicative. For the seriousness of those negotiations.
Qalibaf stressed the need for the practical and immediate lifting of all measures of the embargo on Iran, not to delay negotiations, and the full and practical implementation by the Americans and Europeans of their commitments.
The head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mojtaba Dhu al-Nur, announced yesterday that according to the strategic law to lift the sanctions, the West’s opportunity to fulfill its obligations on May 24 will end and Iran will take its measures according to this law.
