FC Bayern's “Qatar Airways” sponsorship has come under massive criticism.

At the general meeting on Thursday, the fans vented their anger about it, they clashed with the president and the board of directors.

But what do football officials from the district say about the Qatar cause?

District

- The fans have different points of view. There is only agreement on the assessment of Qatar. "It's crazy what's going on," says coaching legend Toni Plattner, who is known as a fan of FC Bayern. Basically he understands the criticism of parts of the fans of the Qatar sponsor, but Plattner also classifies this: "Of course they disregard all human rights there, but we have enough problems in our own country too." The young people in the club have the right to express their opinion, “but I'm more on the neutral side”.

This is what the SV Dornach coach has in common with the Heimstetten regional league coach Christoph Schmitt.

He is also a Bayern fan, has a lot on his mind and follows the Qatar discussions on the sidelines.

That is why Schmitt does not want to say anything more about the fan discussions at Bavaria.

"The whole of great football is currently not covered in fame," emphasizes Schmitt and is also thinking about awarding the World Cup to Qatar.

"If we win the Champions League, everything will be fine again"

Uwe Cygan, President of VfR Garching, sees the escalation of the Bayern assembly as a sign that people are becoming thinner. Basically, he considers it more serious that amateurs are only allowed to train with 2Gplus, while professionals with a salary of 20 million are allowed to kick unvaccinated. He has a solution for the Bayern discussion: "If we win the Champions League, everything will be fine again."

Emanuel Eisenreich is the president of FC Ismaning and a fan of TSV 1860. “I don't care for glee,” says Eisenreich, who is used to turbulent gatherings from his heart club.

He is staying out of the current discussion.

“I have enough to do with the children's training program at FC Ismaning and our family-run company and no time for sponsoring FC Bayern,” says the senior official at FC Ismaning.

That is why he did not deal with the internal problems of FC Bayern yesterday.
