27 Germans in the Corona Hotel on Mallorca
The spokeswoman for the Balearic Ministry of Health confirmed to the online portal on Monday afternoon (April 12) that the vacationers in the congress hotel, which is currently used as a corona quarantine
hotel, will
remain
in self-isolation
for
at least ten days
.
How many of those affected actually tested positive for the coronavirus is not exactly known.
Because the relatives of the Covid 19 sufferers are also staying in the hotel.
In addition, there are three other foreign tourists and five residents of the island in the hotel because they cannot keep their quarantine anywhere else, the spokeswoman said.
Furthermore, she did not rule out that other vacationers who tested positive are in quarantine with their families elsewhere.
Unlike the people who stayed in the quarantine hotel, no nationalities would be given here.
For example, it is possible that the holidaymakers concerned
spend
their quarantine in a holiday apartment or holiday home

Corona quarantine on Mallorca: who pays the costs?
The congress hotel Meliá Palma Bay was signed by the government in the Balearic Islands as a quarantine hotel.
However, there is still disagreement about who should now pay for the costs of the accommodation.
The Balearic Ministry of Health once again assures
MZ
that the accommodation costs can be settled using the European Insurance Card (EHIC).
However, the German health insurance companies continue to warn that those affected will likely have to pay for the quarantine costs themselves.
"We are assuming that the
accommodation costs will not be paid by the health insurances
and accordingly cannot be billed through the EHIC," confirmed the spokesman for the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance of the
