London – Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her 70th anniversary of the throne this year.
This important historical event should be celebrated in a big way in the English capital.
Queen Elizabeth II is on the verge of a historic moment
According to a statement from Buckingham Palace, Queen Elizabeth II is the first British monarch to have reigned for 70 years.
On this unprecedented occasion there will be celebrations in London over several days.
Culture Minister Nadine Dorries announced that the coming year will be all about pride, celebration and coming together.

Dorries also described the anniversary as an unprecedented milestone.
It is therefore appropriate to toast the Queen for her dedication and commitment.
Multi-day celebrations in honor of the British monarch
All year round, London will be dominated by this important event.
The main celebrations are to take place over four days in the summer.
The Trooping the Color parade starts on June 2nd to mark the Queen's birthday, which she actually celebrates on April 21st.
On the following days there will be, among other things, a thanksgiving service in St. Paul's Cathedral.
A special spectacle will be the "Platinum Party" in the palace, organized by the British broadcaster BBC.
The event will feature a number of world stars to celebrate with the Queen, according to the statement from Buckingham Palace.

The festive days will come to an end with the "Big Jubilee Lunch" on June 5, during which, according to the palace announcement, the residents of the individual communities will celebrate and have fun together.
