What is wage portage?
Created in the 80s, wage portage is halfway between freelancing and salaried employment.
It allows workers to be both professionally independent, while benefiting from the protection of the CDI and the advantages granted to employees.
This is what seduced Frédéric Mauriange, who was himself a "portee" before founding and directing Régie Portage.
In this so-called tripartite relationship, a consultant (freelance, auto-entrepreneur, etc.) is supported by an umbrella company as part of a service that he provides for a client company.
The consultant signs an employment contract with the portage company, which may be preceded by a wage portage agreement.
This contract allows the wearer to know in advance and in complete transparency the terms of calculation and payment of his remuneration, in accordance with article L1254-21 of the Labor Code.
As for the service provided, it is framed by an assignment contract comprising nine clauses, which defines the conditions for the performance of the service by the wearer, on behalf of the company.
In the absence of a service, unlike a traditional employment contract, the lifter does not receive any remuneration.

Portage Board
Wage portage reinvented by Régie Portage
The advantages for the wearer are multiple:
Autonomy in the choice of missions, their duration and the definition of prices,
Freedom of mind: invoicing and management are provided by the umbrella company,
Simplicity and flexibility: the start-up is done in 24 hours and it is just as possible to quickly exit the status,
Deduction of professional expenses,
The carried signs a CDI with the company of portage and the invoices are then transformed into payslips, which enables him to contribute to the unemployment insurance and the retirement, while profiting from a social protection.
Employee status on a permanent contract also makes it easier to access housing and mortgages thanks to a strong indicator of financial solvency.
Additional benefits
By calling on Régie Portage for wage portage, consultants can also benefit from restaurant vouchers, gift vouchers and culture vouchers, CESU vouchers to finance personal services, but also from a PEE (Plan Epargne d company) and a PERCO (collective retirement savings plan).
The 5% commission is fixed in advance, it is well below the average for umbrella companies.
The salary simulation
In order to estimate their monthly salary, independent consultants can use the salary simulation tool offered by Régie Portage.
The calculation is based on the ADR (Average Daily Rate) of the consultant, i.e. the amount excluding tax invoiced each day and the duration of the mission, as well as the costs and benefits (meal tickets, mutual insurance, transport , etc.).
By carrying out this calculation upstream, the consultant can thus set the fair rate that must be invoiced to the client company.
A single constraint: to benefit from wage portage, the self-employed worker must receive a minimum income, which corresponds to 70 to 85% of the social security ceiling, i.e. a minimum daily rate of €190 to €272 excluding tax.
Trust, transparency and proximity rewarded
Historically oriented towards the engineering, IT and construction trades, Régie Portage now has twelve employees and some 230 supported employees.
The changes taking place in the labor market and the new professions in demand (data and marketing consultants, for example) however require the umbrella company to adapt constantly.
This company on a human scale claims proximity to its employees and close ties that allow it to provide tailor-made and quality monitoring.
Régie Portage has been labeled Zero Hidden Fees by the FEDEP'S (Association of employees in wage portage), a label that attests to the transparency and rigor of the company with regard to the accounts of its employees.
In addition, Régie Portage offers banking rigor accounts accompanied by a digital safe to allow ported employees to have maximum security for their activity and their data.
She is also a Growth Champion in 2022 (a title that rewards exceptional growth between 2017 and 2020) and should be rewarded again in 2023.
