There will be no Formula 1 race in Germany next year. This comes from the Grand Prix calendar, which includes the record number of 22 races and was published.
The World Council of the Automobile World Federation Fia has yet to finalize the calendar, but this is considered a formality. The current season includes 21 races.
The operators of the Hockenheimring had expected the end of 2020. "If that was the case, it would not surprise us" or "shock us," Ring CEO Jorn Teske said on Wednesday.

The organizers have to pay millions of euros each year to Formula One to be able to host a race. This became a problem in times of declining audience interest for Hockenheim. Already the Grand Prix this year came at short notice, because Mercedes stepped in as title sponsor.
New in the calendar are the tracks in Hanoi (Vietnam) and Zandvoort (the Netherlands), but there is an event away with the race in Germany. In Zandvoort, the European season is set to begin on 3 May.
