During the raid in Rottach-Egern, investigators not only searched Alisher Usmanow's villas.

A small residential complex in Rottach-Egern was also scrutinized.

Rottach-Egern

– So far, it was assumed in the Tegernsee valley that the 120 highly equipped emergency services were only interested in real estate attributed to billionaire Alisher Usmanow.

However, further research makes it clear that a small residential complex in Rottach-Egern was one of the 24 properties nationwide that were searched during a raid last week.

It was around nine o'clock on a Wednesday.

From countless police vehicles, including civilian ones, special forces from the federal police, customs and tax investigators stormed into identified targets on the shore of Lake Tegernsee.

Investigators assumed that the security service was armed

The focus was on the villa where the Uzbek-Russian entrepreneur Alisher Usmanov, who is considered a close confidante of Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin, probably spent most of his time.

According to information from our newspaper, the background to the strict security precautions with the massive police presence was that the investigators probably continued to assume that an armed security service was said to have observed the manorial villa on the Schorn until the end.

A large part of the guards was housed in the small residential complex in Rottach-Egern in whose underground car park two valuable Maybach and Brabus Mercedes luxury cars with Munich license plates were discovered in April.

Raid also in neighboring residential complex

Neighbors are now reporting that on Wednesday around ten heavily armed police forces and civilians wearing balaclavas also broke into the residential complex not far from Usmanow's second home.

The operation fits into the picture: according to the press release from the public prosecutor's office, Usmanow had the "real estate in Upper Bavaria that is economically attributable to him continued to be guarded by a security company" and by "paying for these security services violated the prohibition on disposing of frozen funds".

13 luxury cars were ready

Der Spiegel reports that Usmanow and his sister GulbakhorIsmailowa are responsible for a Munich company that had a fleet of luxury cars ready for the billionaire.

"He had 13 cars at his disposal at all times, including several Mercedes limousines, including two Maybachs," says the magazine.

This should at least clarify the true ownership of the Maybach and the Mercedes Brabus in the Rottach underground car park.

According to information from our newspaper, the investigators were already looking for a total of six Usmanow luxury cars hidden in underground garages in April at Tegernsee.
