Magen Maccabi Haifa Raz Meir provided his version of events that led to the red card he suffered at the half-time break at the end of the 1: 2 victory over Hapoel B'Shlosha tonight (Monday). Aron Shari, who was nearby reinforced things when some of the players supported what was said in social media posts.
"The king who did nothing," wrote brakeman Ofri Arad.
Contact Dolev Haziza added: "Raz did nothing to justify dismissal. He did not push Eric Bendo."
Maccabi Haifa as a club are behind the team defender's version and are waiting to see what will be recorded in the referee's report.
Meir himself wrote on his Instagram account: "A group of men one by one. Proud to be part of this family! I will start by saying that anyone who knows me knows the way I conduct myself and what I advocate as a human being.
"The only thing I'm sorry about is that I left my team with ten players who were not wronged. As in every game there was an exchange between the team players, nothing different from another game happened. "Anyone who claims otherwise is a liar. Thank you to the amazing audience."
