Already favorite of the second round
Since the start of the campaign, the president of the Île-de-France region, supported by Les Républicains and the UDI, has been racing at the top of the polls.
During her travels in the region, the potential presidential candidate has notably angled her proposals on insecurity in transport, promising to double the number of security agents on the network.
She also promised the establishment of an income for young workers aged 18 to 25 (without employment or training).
In addition, Valérie Pécresse also campaigned on her plan to modernize public transport in the region, notably planning to automate the RER B, D and E.
In the latest opinion polls, the outgoing president is given the favorite in the second round. In an Ifop-Fiducial poll for
Le Figaro
and TF1 / LCI published on June 13, Valérie Pécresse was given the winner regardless of the configurations in the second round (between 37% and 38%), ahead of the list that would bring together the left (between 27 and 29%), Jordan Bardella (between 19% and 20%) and Laurent Saint-Martin (15%).
