The branch of the Syrian Foundation for Bakeries in As-Suwayda started today the rehabilitation of the first production line of the Shahba automatic bakery, after it stopped working for its feet.
The director of the branch, Alaa Muhanna, told SANA reporter that the production line had stopped after it had exceeded its lifespan and part of the fire house had been demolished, which was reflected during the last period on the quality and quality of the loaf of bread.
Muhanna indicated that the rehabilitation work is carried out under the supervision of a technical workshop from the general administration of the institution and includes the installation of a new fire house and a complete production line in terms of formation, cutting and fermentation rooms, according to the modern system, noting that the rehabilitation work lasts for 10 days.
Muhanna indicated that a mechanism has been put in place to cover the shortage of bread for the city of Shahba and the villages of its region through the rest of the governorate's general automated bakeries and private sector bakeries, provided that the second production line in the bakery continues to operate beyond its capacity at 11 tons per day.
Shahba Automatic Bakery in Suwayda produces about 18 tons of bread daily through two lines, and in addition to Shahba city, serves many villages in the region.
