The workshop of the Electricity Division in the Shain area in the western Homs countryside completed the work of repairing the malfunction that occurred in the Al-Maranah transformer as a result of the prevailing weather conditions in the area.
Thabet Khaddour, head of Shin Electricity Division, said in a statement to SANA reporter that a malfunction occurred in the Al-Maranah transformer, which led to the interruption of the Zafarana medium line from work for several hours, and the power outage in the villages of “Al-Marana, Rabah, its farms, Awtan, Ain Al-Fawwar and Bahour” in the western countryside of Homs.
Khaddour explained that the necessary maintenance work was carried out during the early morning hours and electricity was restored to all subscribers, stressing the readiness of the workshops to address any emergency malfunction around the clock.
