Tiktukno - summary of today's events, 23.9 (Sport1)

In Sweden, they claim today (Friday) that Maccabi Haifa and Maccabi Tel Aviv are competing for the same player: Joel Asoro, a striker who belongs to the Swedish club Djurgarden.

The 23-year-old Asuro scored six goals this season in all competitions for the Swedish team, and he is considered a versatile attacking player who is able to play both on the wing and in the center.

On the face of it, Asuro's profile is more suitable for Maccabi Tel Aviv, who are looking for a winger who can also play as a striker after they failed to land Aldo Kalolo from Sosho.

The Yellows have room for another foreigner in the squad, while the Greens will have to release a foreigner to add the player, however, according to the report in Sweden, "the team from Israel already made a huge deal this summer when they acquired Franzi Piero."

Asoro has an interesting resume.

He started his career in the Swedish Bruma, moved as a teenager to the English Sunderland, and made 26 appearances in the minor league in the uniform of their senior team.

Swansea bought him in the summer of 2018, but he never wore the media.

He was loaned to Groningen and scored three goals in 15 appearances in Media, was loaned out once more, this time to Genoa where he didn't have time to play in Media either, and since February 2021 he has been starring at Djurgarden.

This season, as mentioned, he scored six goals, including in the Conference League.
