Al-Hasakah-SANA

This afternoon, the Allouk water station was restarted after an interruption of thirty-eight days as a result of the station's operation being stopped by the Turkish occupier.

The Director of the Water Corporation, Mahmoud Al-Akla, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the station was operated with the capacity of wells and pumps at six o’clock in the evening, as it is expected that the water will reach the Al-Hama tanks at noon tomorrow, and if the tanks are full, the water will be pumped to the subscribers in the city of Al-Hasakah.

Eng. Al-Okla pointed out that the failure to operate the rest of the wells in the station resulted from theft of some supplies and equipment, and maintenance workshops would operate if they were not prevented from entering the maintenance procedure and increased the number of wells and the quantities of water produced, respectively.

It is noteworthy that the Allouk water project includes a well and a horizontal pump, and normally produces a quantity of 1,000 cubic meters of water per day.
