Deir Ezzor-SANA
The branch of the Syrian Corporation for Bakeries in Deir ez-Zor province has restarted the first automated bakery in Al-Hamidiya neighborhood in the city, after repairing all the damages caused by the fire that it sustained at the end of last month.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Eng. Samir Al-Sanad, told SANA reporter that the Foundation’s workshops, in cooperation with the World Food Program, repaired the bakery and replaced the parts that were damaged by the fire, which it was exposed to as a result of a technical failure that caused it to be out of service, as the fermentation room, the upper and lower burners, and the damaged electric cables were replaced.
Al-Sanad pointed out that the bakery has returned to work and production with a daily capacity of 6 tons, which can be increased up to 14 tons, which is the maximum capacity of the bakery, which is located in the middle of the liberated neighborhoods in the city and provides the bread needs of the people returning to their homes.
