The decision of these changes has to do with two situations.
One of them is economical.

The deal with Axion on the sleeves had been $ 2.5 million for 18 months, or almost $ 140,000 per month.
Meanwhile, Codere will pay 2 million dollars for 12 months, from August 1, 2021 to July 31, 2022, which is equivalent to 166 thousand dollars per month.

From August 2022 to 2025, Codere will become the main sponsor, replacing Turkish Airlines.
It will pay 3.5 million dollars per year, that is,
a total of 10.5 million
US currency, which means half a million more than what the agreement with the Turkish airline represented.
The other reason for this change is because River wants to anticipate a possible problem.
