Russia today (Sunday) bombed a school that served as a shelter for 90 civilians in Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine.
Thirty survivors were rescued from the scene and two bodies were located.
The governor of the Luhansk region, Sri Gaidai, said Russian forces had dropped a bomb on Saturday afternoon on the school where they found shelter for about 90 people, causing a fire that surrounded the building.
"The fire was extinguished after nearly four hours, then the rubble was evacuated, and unfortunately the bodies of two people were found," Gaidai wrote in the Telegram messaging app.
"Thirty people were evacuated from the rubble, seven of them injured. Sixty people apparently died under the rubble of the buildings," he said.
