Russia is developing robotic vehicles to study earthquakes on the moon

"Scientists are working on a project to develop small robotic vehicles that will be able to measure earthquakes and temperatures on the Moon," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the foundation as saying in a statement.

She indicated that scientists are planning to develop a network of geophysical robotic vehicles equipped with equipment capable of monitoring earthquakes and measuring temperatures on the surface of the moon and the heat that comes out of its inner layers. These robots are supposed to be transferred to the moon via Russian "corvette" spacecraft that are reusable several times.

The "Ross Cosmos" Foundation indicated earlier that Russia plans to send several vehicles to study the moon in the future, as well as its plans to build scientific bases on its surface.
