The headquarters of anti-Coronavirus operations in Russia announced today that 13,397 new cases of the emerging coronavirus have been recorded during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections since the start of the pandemic in the country to 5,249,990.
The headquarters statement stated that the largest number of injuries was recorded in the Russian capital, Moscow, with 5782 injuries, followed by the Moscow suburbs with 1187 injuries, and Saint Petersburg with 927 injuries.
The statement indicated that 396 deaths were recorded as a result of infection with the virus during the past hours, bringing the total deaths to 127,576 deaths, pointing out that 10,256 people had recovered from infection with the virus, bringing the number of people recovered since the start of the pandemic to 4,828,500 people.
