TOKYO, SANA- Two Russian swimmers, Svetlana Romashina and Svetlana Kolesnichenko, won the gold medal in the Olympics.

Russian swimmers Svetlana Romashina and Svetlana Kolesnichenko won the gold medal in synchronized swimming "aqua ballet" in the women's doubles at the Tokyo Olympics.

Romashina and Kolesnichenko won the gold medal in the duo competition at the Olympics, bringing Russia's gold medal tally to 14.

Six-time Olympic synchronized swimming champion Svetlana Romashina announced that the Tokyo Games would be the last of her career.
