Russian Andrei Rublev qualified for the quarter-finals of the Washington Tennis Championships, by defeating American Maxim Cressi in two sets without a response.
Rublev won the match 6-4, 6-7 in the tournament, with a total prize pool of more than one million and 953 thousand dollars.
Rublev, 24, will be on a date in the next round with the winner of the meeting, which will bring together Denmark's Holger Ron and American Jeffrey John Wolfe.
