Deputy Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department for Non-Proliferation and Arms Control Igor Vishnevitsky stressed that the passage of the International Atomic Energy Agency mission to visit the Zaporozhye nuclear plant through the territory controlled by the Kyiv regime is "risky".
"The passage of the IAEA mission through Kyiv means across the front line, and this is a big risk, given that the Ukrainian armed forces are heterogeneous armed formations," Vishnevitsky was quoted by Sputnik news agency as saying in a statement today.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced yesterday that the Ukrainian military leadership is preparing for large-scale provocations in the area of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant.
