The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization, Ali Akbar Salehi, affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran condemns the exposure to the enrichment center at the Natanz nuclear reactor and reserves the right to take measures against the perpetrators, the commanders and the perpetrators.
This morning, an accident occurred in a part of the electricity distribution network at the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan Complex for Fertilization in Natanz, which did not result in any human injuries or pollution.
Fars news agency quoted Salehi as saying that Iran, while condemning this failed step, stresses the need for the international community and the International Atomic Energy Agency to deal with this nuclear terrorism, stressing that his country will continue to seriously expand nuclear technology on the one hand and work to lift the unjust embargo on the other hand.
Ali Akbar Salehi added that the measure that was taken against the enrichment center in Natanz shows the failure of opponents of industrial and political progress in the country to prevent the great development of the nuclear industry on the one hand and the successful negotiations to lift the unjust embargo.
The head of the Iranian Atomic Energy Authority stated that in order to thwart the goals of this terrorist movement, Iran will continue to seriously expand nuclear technology on the one hand and work to lift the unjust embargo on the other hand.
He noted that on the National Nuclear Technology Day, the latest achievements of the young and persevering scientists in the country were shown, and at the same time the prospects for lifting the ban became quite clear.
