According to the Korea Trade Association, Korea's dependence on hydrogen fluoride is over 40%, and high-purity products used for semiconductor cleaning depend on imports from Japan. The Korean government and companies are promoting domestic production and diversification of import destinations following the strengthening of Japanese export procedures. It has been pointed out that if “Leave Japan” becomes a reality, Japanese companies may be affected.
