Sassoli, one in 5 children at risk of poverty in Europe

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAY 06 - "More than one in five children in Europe is at risk of poverty and social exclusion. The European Parliament firmly believes that the European Childhood Guarantee is the way to reverse this phenomenon".

The EU Social Summit in Porto "must be an opportunity to support greater social investments for every child", concludes Sassoli.
