A real scandal occurred in this Thursday's session in the Chamber of Deputies, where one of the members of the legislative body who was participating remotely in the debate groped a woman.

Everything was recorded on the giant screen that was installed in the lower house to enable discussions during the pandemic.

The controversial episode starred

 Julio Emilio Ameri

, representative for the province of Salta.

The transmission record shows

how a woman approaches the deputy and he sits her on his lap and then begins to grope her

The event occurred when Carlos Heller defended the Bill for the Defense of Assets of the Sustainability Guarantee Fund of the Integrated Pension System (FGS), which contemplates the renegotiation of the debt that the provinces have with the National Social Security Administration ( Anses).

Immediately afterwards, the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Sergio Massa, interrupted the debate to demand the

"immediate suspension

" of Ameri, as established in article 182 of the parliamentary regulations.

"We have experienced a situation that exceeds the rules of coexistence and the rules of normal operation of this house," Massa repudiated.

Next, the head of the Chamber ordered the formation of a commission, made up of five deputies, to determine the sanction as provided by the regulations.

"This is the house of the people, we cannot admit as representatives in democracy that these situations occur," he criticized.
