A swimmer who was missing in the meantime triggered a large-scale search on Friday around the eastern Starnberg Bay and the Würm between the lake and the B 2 bridge.
Percha / Starnberg - As the spokesman for the Starnberger Wasserwacht, Oliver Jauch, told Starnberger Merkur, a woman and a 47-year-old man from Munich went swimming on the big jetty in Percha late in the morning. On the way they would have lost sight of each other. When the man was not back two hours later, his companion alerted the rescue workers at around 1:10 p.m. Then 60 to 80 emergency services from the water rescue service, DLRG and fire brigade searched for the swimmer with numerous boats and with the support of a police helicopter. Divers were also on duty. About 90 minutes later, around 2:40 p.m., the all-clear was given. The 47-year-old was found safe and sound in the lido of the Starnberg seaside resort.
