Seat sales in Israel have been based for years on the two small models offered by the manufacturer, the Ibiza, whose sales momentum began with a discounted manual model and later with a price difference compared to its counterparts from the Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Fabia brands until it won the Ministry of Defense tender.
And the closet, which beyond the popularity of small crossovers, has in recent years begun to penetrate the vehicle fleet as an alternative to mini-families thanks to an attractive price.

For the Ibiza, whose fifth and current generation has been with us since 2017, the external changes are very marginal.
Prominent among them are the full LED lighting that will now come as standard and with it a change in the structure of the lighting units as well as front and rear bumpers with a slightly different look.
In the cabin, on the other hand, more significant differences can be noticed.
The multimedia screen that changed position and climbed up at the expense of the air vents.
It will come in a size of 8.25 or 9.2 inches depending on the level of finish and got the latest user interface from the manufacturer.
The air vents on the sides are round from now on.
But the most important addition to Ibiza is invisible - these are its upgraded safety systems and will henceforth include automatic braking, lane departure correction, "dead zone" vehicle warning and adaptive cruise control.
Which will allow it to get rid of the Mobilai system it has been equipped with so far.

It too was launched in 2017 as the Ibiza on which it is based.
In the exterior design the most noticeable change is the bumpers and especially those that get the higher finish levels, in which various fog lamps are integrated.
The rest of the differences are very small including including the inscription of the model name on the back door.
As in Ibiza, here too the driver's environment has changed.
The screen climbs up, its size will be 8.25 to 9.25 inches depending on the level of finish with pairing for Apple and Android (the first also wireless).
The dashboard has gone digital and is 10.25 inches in size.
Seat also talks about improved material quality.
And again, as in Ibiza, this time the safety system will include automatic braking, adaptive cruise control, vehicle warning in "dead zone", correction of deviation from the lane and more.

Under the hoods of the two there is almost no change.
They will continue to be sold with a choice between a 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine with an output of 95 or 110 hp, overseas with a 5-speed manual transmission for first and 6-speed or a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
When in Ibiza there is an even weaker version with 80 hp and a manual transmission.
The second engine, at least in the closet, will continue to be the one with a volume of 1.5 liters, 150 hp that will be offered only with a dual-clutch automatic transmission.
From the press release it is not clear whether this engine will be in the facelift of the Ibiza.
The latest models of the Seat Ibiza and Arona are expected to reach us during the quarter of 2021.
