A 29-year-old man died on the night of Thursday 2 to Friday 3 December in Cesson (Seine-et-Marne) after being shot in the head, AFP learned from police sources.

Shortly before midnight, the police intervened with an unconscious man, injured in the head, near the station of Cesson, in the agglomeration of Melun, told AFP a local police source.
The intervention of the emergency services did not allow him to be resuscitated and the man died on the spot, said the same source.
A bullet case was found near the body.
Aged 29, the victim resided in Savigny-le-Temple, a town bordering Cesson.
A witness told police he heard two detonations and saw two people.
There has so far been no arrest, said the police source.
The investigation opened for intentional homicide was entrusted to the Melun branch of the Versailles judicial police, said another police source.
