"In what should have been a safe environment,

the girls were victims of threats and sexual comments of an explicit and violent nature,

" says the statement from the body that provides legal assistance and support to the complainants.

Furthermore, due to the extreme seriousness of these offenses, FIFPRO asked FIFA to

immediately remove the coach from his current position

, in which he could access and exercise power over minors.

In a collective action, indicates the body that protects the rights of professional soccer players, the players "are determined to play a key role so that soccer develops in a safer and more inclusive environment."
