Between 1,200 and 1,300 people according to the organizers, 650 according to the police took part Saturday in a demonstration in Paris at the call of unions CGT, SUD and Solidaires, to protest against the layoffs and the reform of unemployment insurance.
Among the demonstrators were notably CGT unionists from the tour operator TUI, Monoprix, the Cargill Haubourdin and PPG Sealants Europe factories, the CFTC of the same company, representatives of SUD PTT, the CGT Spectacle, the CGT-HPE (Hotels prestige and economic), or associations defending the rights of the unemployed Apeis and AC !, noted AFP.

Several elected officials were also present: LFI deputies Mathilde Panot, Eric Coquerel and Adrien Quatennens, PCF deputy Elsa Faucillon, European deputy Pierre Larrouturou (Nouvelle Donne) and former presidential candidate Olivier Besancenot (NPA).
Gathered in front of the headquarters of Medef, the demonstrators were joined by a hundred "yellow vests", including members of the Syndicate of yellow vests. For an hour, speeches followed, interspersed with slogans such as "
Enough, enough, of the power of the bosses!" We are the ones who work, we are the ones who decide ”.
