Dominique Boutonnat, the president of the National Cinema Center (CNC), is referred to the criminal court for sexual assault according to information franceinfo confirmed to AFP.
He is implicated by his godson, 21 years old at the time of the facts.
Dominique Boutonnat had been renewed in July for three additional years at the head of the National Cinema Center (CNC) at the end of the Council of Ministers, despite a balance sheet criticized by some filmmakers and an indictment after accusations of sexual assault which he disputes.
Several directors, including Jacques Audiard, Cédric Klapisch and Pierre Salvadori, have their opposition to its renewal considering its policy
“openly liberal and too often short-termist”
