Fynn Lakenmacher made the decision against SV Meppen with his double pack, but the 22-year-old can also score in other ways.
Munich – In the 86th minute, Fynn Lakenmacher got the well-deserved applause from the stands when he substituted for Daniel Wein, who made his comeback at Giesing's heights after a long injury break.
He had earned this, as his brace (63rd/66th) against SV Meppen brought the decision in what had been a hard-fought game for a long time.
Even after the game, the young striker showed his best side.
1860 fans give sheet maker 'goosebumps'
After Marcel Bär's failure, the Löwen camp, which naturally thinks in extremes, already saw all skins swimming away for the promotion.
Without the top scorer of last season, how should you achieve the promotion you are aiming for?
However, those responsible in Munich did their homework in the summer and signed two storm back-ups in Meris Skenderović and Fynn Lakenmacher.
And one of these back-ups really took off in the third game of the season.
Just as the guests from SV Meppen were getting closer and closer to the lion's goal in the home game in the Grünwalder stadium, Fynn Lakenmacher struck twice and brought the lion fans to ecstasy.
An enthusiasm that is also transferred to the actors on the pitch in the interplay.
"This force, which comes from outside, carries us," confirms the double goal scorer and, after the 4-0 win in an interview with
MagentaSport
, also lets us look inside himself: "I had goosebumps after the game with the fans."
Sheet makers on the trail of an 1860 legend?
The Löwen fans should like the fact that their power has been transferred from the ranks to the striker.
The best example is the 2:0, in which Lakenmacher first rummaged through three opponents and then uncompromisingly transported the ball into the left corner of the cross.
This probably brought the Twitter user "
Virsuslav Klose
" to the statement that Lakenmacher left behind "real Olaf Bodden vibes".
In fact, the comparison is not as far-fetched as it might seem at first glance, because Bodden was also known for his unconditional will and physical assertiveness on the pitch.
Of course it is still much too early in the season and also in the connection 1860 - Lakenmacher to seriously strive for such a comparison.
However, no one around the lions would complain if Lakenmacher were able to leave similar footsteps as Bodden in Giesing.
