At least two sharp firearms were used in the shooting that injured four people in Duisburg.
The investigators announced that.
Both weapons have not yet been found.
In the meantime, 90 participants in the tumult had been identified.
But there were no new arrests, it said.
The 15 men initially arrested had been released.
They had remained silent about the shooting.
The investigators attribute the shots to a dispute between the Hells Angels rocker group and a Turkish-Arab clan.
It is determined because of serious breach of the peace and attempted homicide.
The investigators did not comment on the exact background to the outbreak of violence.
"We have a few ideas, but no reliable knowledge," it said.
At least 19 shots were fired in the Hamborn district of Duisburg on Wednesday evening last week.
The investigators now have a large quantity of authentic footage of the event.
