Three soldiers and three children were killed in a terrorist bombing in North Waziristan, northwest Pakistan today.
The local Associated Press of Pakistan quoted the police as saying in a statement that a suicide bomber blew himself up while an army patrol was passing near Miranshah district of the province, killing three soldiers and three children aged between 4 and 11 who were at the scene.
She added that the intelligence services are conducting an investigation to find out the identity of the suicide bomber and those responsible for the operation and its financiers.
The Department of Counter-Terrorism of the Pakistani authorities in Peshawar, northwest Pakistan, announced yesterday that two militants were killed during a security operation carried out by the Pakistani authorities in the city.
