Météo France placed four departments in the North-East on Monday morning in orange vigilance due to snow and ice.
The departments concerned are: Ardennes, Moselle, Meurthe-et-Moselle, Meuse.
10 other departments in the east and north-east of the country are in yellow vigilance (level 2 out of 4) for the same reason.
