Jack Charlton , one of the most famous English footballers, has died . With his brother Bobby he won the World Cup at Wembley in 1966 and was also the coach of the Republic of Ireland: he brought the formation of the Republic of Ireland to two editions of the World Cup. He was 85 years old. He passed away in his home in Northumberland. The former Leeds defender had been diagnosed with lymphoma in the past year.
