Over the past weekend, railings were deposited on more than 1.6 million citizens aged 18 and over, the National Insurance Institute said today (Sunday). It was also reported that about NIS 1.4 billion was transferred for about 3 million children in Israel. During the day, the National Insurance Institute is expected to deposit the 'grant for every citizen' to another 2.5 million citizens - and they will see the grant in their account tomorrow.

The National Insurance Institute stated that since the previous Sunday, the grants have been deposited for about 8.2 million residents (children and adults), in the amount of about NIS 5.9 billion. More than two million citizens entered Social Security systems and checked their bank accounts - 471,241 of them changed their account. At this stage, there are about 800,000 citizens who have not yet received the grants, most of whom have not yet verified their bank accounts with the National Insurance Institute.

Of the 500,000 bank accounts that have not yet been located, about 50% belong to the Jewish localities, about 25.5% to mixed localities and about 22% to the non-Jewish localities.
